THE LANGUAGE OF PLAY

In many places across the world, simple and found materials are used as a form of play and way to communicate thoughts and ideas.  Exploring materials can be a shared experience that brings people of different cultures and spoken language together.

A few years ago, Linda brought materials to a pediatric playroom in Israel for parents, grandparents, and patients of different cultures and various spoken languages to engage, imagine, and create.  The materials became meaningful tools to connect different cultures, language, and experience.  This experience brought new meaning to Linda's work and she continues to bring materials to different settings as a way to encourage a connection between materials, people, and experience.
